Calabogie Track Day!!! - October 20-21
Ok, we're getting pretty close the last few days Calabogie has left on its calendar. Some folks expressed interest in going up for a day (or two), so let's see who can confirm. If we don't get at least 5 confirmed, we won't get a group rate (so at that point if anyone wants to go, they can contact CMP directly).
1. MaxL 2. Ahsanh 3. Freddy 4. Shizzle 5. Jaypod Are ALM3, ZWeapon and Gearhead999s looking at coming? Last edited by sawzall; 10-11-2012 at 04:43 PM.. |

Update. Looks like STALKER won't be able to make it.
On another note, the Porsche Sport Exhaust gets installed on my car on Wednesday |

Cool, so we've got our 5 minimum, so this gig is on! Please post which day(s) you would like to attend and Jaypod and I will get everything firmed up.

Great! I'm yes for Saturday and maybe for Sunday. Got my harness delivered today - UPS ripped me off with $100 of brokerage fees, but at least I have it in time.

Damn, wish I could but I'm swamped with work T_T
Out of curiosity, how much is the group rate/person/day? Do they make you have a helmet and 5 point harness or anything? Apparently Calabogie is a great track, so I'd definitely like to go in the future.

Awesome day at CMP as usual! Was nice to test out the new suspension on the drive up and finally on track! Love it!
Shizzle and I were talking to one of the organizers and hopefully we will have some good news for next year so stay tuned! Sadly one of the last track days of the year and already looking forward to next year! Shizzle found a stow-a-way trying to get some free track time: |

Calabogie as usual was awesome! And we partied so hard, we had to go to Renfrew cause we shut down the town of Calabogie!
The first few sessions were super slippery - i've been on ice rinks with more grip! But later in the day, I managed to run some personal best times, mainly by taking approach into temptation ALM3 taught me, and the tighter line through 14 I saw from Jaypod's last video. I was a chicken through 10-11 and 15-16 so I could easily have shaved another few seconds. Here's some video from the track. Jaypod makes a quick cameo, but because he's running some bad ass unicorn horn coilovers and a stealth supercharger , I couldn't keep up. |

Actually, i've learned from the Porsche forums that owners of older generation cars hate the drivers of newer ones. They don't wave them by out of spite!

It was an awesome trip, even though I was not driving my best - I actually regret I did not do the second day. |
