M3 Interior trim poll

Alright, we've had Exterior and Interior color polls, wheel polls, options polls, and now for that often overlooked but equally important decision....

Which interior trim will it be for everyone....................?

I love piano black too bad we can't get it here in the US...well you can from realoem.com but I rather not shell out another $2000+ just for a trim when I could used that for a performance mod....0.02

I heard a group of smugglers got 15-20 years for trying to bring Piano Black into the country..........

BMW Europe gets soooooo many more cool options than we do........

Course, they pay dearly over there for it too.......

Overall, I am not pleased with the interior options on the new M3. Too sparse and zero selection.

I agree, but of what's available I'd have Aluminium shadow.

If I was to get mine in Alpine white, I'd be tempted to see if Individual could do me a white iMac-style plastic trim option, which I think would look very fresh and a little bit different.

Yeah it's true realoem.com has Piano Black but that's an outta pocket expense whereas as with BMW you can finance it direct, have them do it, and then be done with it...

Great pics BTW........

my exact thoughts...plus beside the fact that PB trim looks great, I hear it tends to scratch very easy & of course since its black shows dust & finger prints a lot also...I want pics of the other interior trims hi res please

mi6,

the press kit states pretty clearly that there are 4 (non-individual) interior trim options, but you've posted 5 options.

aluminum shadow w/ carbon fiber design leather seems to be one trim and not two separate ones.

press-kit language regarding interior trim options

If BMW offered the real carbon fiber trim that I've seen in person on the M6, I would get that. This trim looks beautiful. I'd really have to see the leather pressed trim before purchasing. Otherwise its a wood for me.

Yeah, there are 4 different interior trims:
1. Titanium shadow (standard in germany)
2. Aluminum shadow
3. Leather with CF look (2 different trims, not combinated with 2.)
4. wood platane

Best regards, south

Any pic or something similar to the wood platane in Anthracite?

Possible, but judging by the M3 sedan concept pics I didn't see any Aluminum Shadow anywhere on the interior shots......... Aluminum Shadow is on the E46 M3 right now and I strongly suspect it is a stand-alone trim on the new M3 as well..........

We shall see......... In the meantime, stop picking my poll apart...
