C63 AMG: M3 killer; Brabus C63=Porsche/Vette Killer!

Just when you thought the C class was going to blow by the M3, Brabus puts a biturbo on it to produce a Porsche Turbo / Corvetter C6 Z06 Killer!

720hp, 974 lb-ft Torque

Not only did they throw in a bi-turbo, you forgot to mention the V12!

No.

And if you go fast in curves...the ESP will burn up those brakes up fast trying to keep the car steady.

all that power and only 3.9 0-60. i still say they stick these engines in these cars and the car just costs more and goes the same speed.

0-60 is mostly traction limited. I bet the QM trap speed shows massive improvement.

the Brabus C63 is pure overkill. 900+lb ft? who can realistically use that?

With that said, its smokin hot. I love it. Would never spend $500k of my own money on it, but I still love it

Good for them. The engine is a monster. The car is just a Mercedes. I don't see what the big deal is.

+1...too much money for too little exclusivity/performance.

There is more to a car than power. I'd like to see them put all that power to the ground. And its probably overpriced as hell too. Useless... a C6 Z06 will probably kick its ass.

brabus have created many cars like this before and as stated above, this is for the autobahn and not really the track. There's a top gear clip of a brabus SLK i think it was with 800 hp and 800 torque. it was going to be higher but brabus needed a tad bit more control over their car than that. It was a pretty wild car! handled like a wet noodle

this is kind of funny to me. how are you comparing a stock m3 with a brabus tuned c63?

i will bet you in the future once the m3 comes out and tuners get hands on it the m3 will be a pure beast. a beast with agility, handling, and grace. who cares if the c63 got 750+ hp and 1k+ tq. those are just numbers.

think about hpf (started late but still made a kick ass turbo kit), active (FTW!!!), VF (also kind of late in the m3 years but great kit), teknik, ESS, RMS, and D/A (FTMFW!!!).

And once the csl comes out in europe, the m3 enthusiasts will either a) buy oem csl parts b) buy vorsteiner parts. make the m3 go on a bigger diet with the csl parts or just even recaro seats, rear delete, roll bar, etc and it will still have faster agility and grace then any c63. even the black series. csl>black series.

im not being biased here but bmw is a true sports car. starting from the design, to the engine (expecially the s54, inline 6 producing 333hp plus all the trial runs with s/c, turbo, nos and the pistons and rods still holding non the less stock internals), to the HERITIGE. BMW= bavarian motor works. Heritige is key. being bred on the nurburgring style, elegence, grace, perfect match.

benz on the other hand sure they got the beefed up amg engines now the 6.3 liter but what does that matter if you don't got the style and design to go with it. benz i don't think has the full heritige like bmw does. their designs are so weird to me besides the slk55, sl, and slr. the new c is like eh, e has like lady bug eyes, g is a huge box, x5>ml. thats what i think. i can go on more but you get my idea. either way at the end of the day

Top Gear did a track test of the Brabus SL AMG 720hp and 900tq and it was just as fast as the E60 M5 1 min 26.2 sec.
You can find the video on youtube.

What a waste of time and money.
