Looking for:
Alpine White
Black or Silver interior
Premium Package
Cold Weather
Tech Package
CF Roof or Sunroof
Under 30K miles

Thanks for your time!

PS - I've already posted this in the Private Car Sales section. Just wanted to reach out to the NW group just in case..

CPO Question

Located a 08 AW from out of town. Has Premium and Tech package. No PDC or Winter Package. 14K miles on it - CF roof. Not CPOed.. But buying it from a BMW Dealership. They said they could CPO the car which would cost me an extra 3500.00 ... It only has 14K miles and 2 years left of existing warranty. My questions is do I CPO it and only get 2 more years after my warranty - or wait until my 2 years are almost up and just get an aftermarket warranty from BMW for 3500.00 then but it would add like 3 to 4 years more? Thoughts? I'm buying this car tomorrow so any help appreciated!!

Thanks,
TAIII

My advice is to wait until the current warranty is almost up then get the extended warranty. If you get it CPO'ed or another warranty now, you'd be wasting your money as the clock starts when you purchase the new warranty. There's no point in being double covered until the factory warranty expires.

Thanks so much for the great advice BMW003E!! I really appreciate it! You just saved me some money and you are totally right, it would only extend on my existing warranty 2 more years? So thanks again!

I am interested in finding an E90 M3 with M-DCT locally if someone is considering selling theirs.
