Hi, welcome and congrats on the order. I completely see what you are going to try to and will accomplish with this choice. I think it will be great. Very classy, understated and yet stil M unique. Conservative until you mash that gas pedal! Good luck waiting for your baby, it is painful.

I'm with you. I also need a luxury sedan look that drives sporty. First of all not many colors offered on the e90 to begin with, but I went with SSII, Blue-Gray, 19"'s and Silver leather. Congratulations.

Nice looking pics. I like the BB/wood interior but would prefer the silver/CF leather for this exterior color. I think the BB/wood looks better on Jerez or IB. But that's just IMHO. Get what you like. Congrats. Glad to see someone who has really wanted a BMW, worked hard and finally earned their just rewards with, in my opinion, BMW's best.

I got it yesterday!! I will post pics tomorrow after I pick it back up from the dealer. I just had to take it home for at least one day before letting them detail it and tint the windows. 35% on all windows.

The color combo is so clean. Very crispy with the silver and beige. The anthracite is nothing like I expected. It's kind of spotty...but the beige leather makes a nice transition to the black dash with the anthracite between the two colors.

This car is a monster. It's true that words don't describe the driving experience. The suspension is so right on. This car feels twice as wide as it really is. So much girth to the throttle even in "normal". I have not really played with the M-Dynamic settings yet. Just a couple of times through some curves, but nothing acceleration related.

The growl of this machine is for the demented. I was walking back into the office here at work after joyriding and I actually made a growling sound walking up the steps. I laughed to myself and made sure noone else heard or saw me!

Anyway...I really have a problem with being obsessed with the M3. I thought maybe it would go away once the wait was over...but unfortunately it's gotten worse (or better, depending on how you look at it).

The EU version of the 18"s, the 260s, with the graphite and thicker looking center area look worlds sportier than the "satin" or grey 18" 219 US versions. If I could get the 260s I would choose them over the 19s based on looks alone.

Love the combination. I am surprised how nice the Anthracite wood looks as well. In Europe you see lots of silver BMWs with beige interiors. Takes some courage to be different, but I for one think it will be stunning.
