This is correct. Women will see that you have a BMW and note the color, but the concept of the M3 being what it is is for the most part completely lost on them. A 328 and an M3 are pretty much identical in their eyes.

Chicks seem to dig the E92, have good luck so far.... Pretty sure they 328 wont' get the same reaction when you take 'em for a ride. They might not know what a M3 is, but they do get excited when the feel the 414hp.

agreed, about the feel and sound - they will notice it. but they will still like it just as much (but in the back of their minds they know its a "special" or "rare" BMW.
