just like no 6speeds were offered (not sure of current optioning), there is also no option for carbon roof

Nice, any member from Beijing? I was in Beijing 3 weeks ago and I snap this on the highway, it was a young man driving his M3 Sedan... I wonder if he is part of the M Club.

For some unknown reasons, BMW never list Carbon roof as available in China

Yes I am living in Beijing now but will have to move to HK in mid-September due to work change.

I don't think we have met each other before coz I only got my M3 about 40 days ago (joined M-club since then).

more like $170k USD ..and I believe with very limited selection of options

I was about to say the same thing. I was all over China for two weeks and didn't see one M3. Saw a bunch of Audis, Hondas and even Mercedes.

Didn't see the sun either! Thick haze every day.

don't worry too much about aftermarket parts. it is not a problem.

wow, China has changed a lot. I went back in 2006 and 2007. Shanghai is leaps and bounds ahead of other cities. I just can't believe the amount of wealth held by some people in Shanghai...
