Need Appraisal advice please

I unfortunately need to sell My 2011 E90 M3

I need to liquidate all My assets because I picked the wrong woman
I have been looking at other M3's for sale to try and figure what Mine is worth, and see a lot of cars that are not selling, and appear to be overpriced based on Kelly blue book.
My car for example, stickered at $72,950, has I think every option except rear sun shades, and has 15,600 miles on it ,appraised at Kelly blue book for $50,700. Other cars on the Auto Trader site private party area for example, have more miles, less options, and are asking quite a bit more.Looks like private parties are asking dealer used car prices.

So ,have any of You successfully sold Your car privately, and how did You come up with it's value?

I say sign that bad not over to a trust worthy relative as if you sold it to them then once all is said and done get it back. That's if your doing it so she won't get it but if your doing it for them money then good luck with everything hope u get it over with in a clean matter. Us men dint have shot going for us in these situations

Sorry to hear it dude that sucks.

I would check NADA, Kelly, Edmunds etc. as reference points. You can also look at the used car advertisments on Cars.com/Autotrader/BMWUSA. I would also check the BMW CCA classifieds as well. Then depending on the condition of the car, how well you kept records, etc. you should have enough information to come up with a fair value. Good luck.

be fair. use the resources available and price based on those. there is no reason an e9x should be worth more than what nada or kbb believes it to be unless if there is an individual color or some other aspects.

As someone go let go of a black c63 and his ex wife in one pass, my hats off to you friend. Trust me, it'll get better. (I had to go from that to mini to 135 to m3, but that's my story).

FWIW, I just bought a 16k miled e90, almost all options PLUS about 26k in aftermarket (Dinan everything plus akra evo) parts and that package was a ridiculous $53k with the 26k in parts. (hell, the car included an additional TWO sets of wheels - all OEM).

So what the others have said, 53k is sound - but remember, there are cars like the one I just found out there that will vie for your sale. A more realistic number is going to be closer to the $47k range based on what I've seen (SORRY! don't shoot the messenger!). Go into the dealer/sale subsection, there is a prices paid for used thread. It may help.

In the meantime, don't let lawyers tell you that you need to do full accounting disclosure, fight that as much as possible and TRY to do as much as you can between the two of you. Otherwise, the only ones who win are the lawyers.

Chin up!
