I'm going to go ahead with the AD08 tires but I'm not sure what size I should go with.

I was considering 255/30, 275/30 or 255/35, 275/53.

My car is an E90 ZCP with the Ground Control sleeve over kit. I'll be daily driving these with a few track sessions.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I need to pull the triger soon. My original tires are shot.

The rear is easy- the 275/35 size will have you within 1% of the original diameter (although slightly taller), which is okay to use. The front is a bit more touchy. The 255/35 size is again within 1% of the original rolling diameter and so should be a safe bet.

The trouble is that the 255/35-19 front size is 1% taller than stock. This is a problem because the front wheel well is very small and is already close to the OE tire size in several places. Therefore, the appropriate answer is to use a 255/35-19, but it's not possible to completely guarantee absolutely no rubbing. Very slight rubbing may occur at parking lot speeds when turning the wheels to full lock.

Thanks, Ilia. I don't mind some parking lot rubbing but that is why I was considering the 30 tires. What would be the down side of going with the 30 sidewall?

I always prefer to stay as close to the OE rolling diameter as possible, as you are introducing fewer variables into the system. The car's electronics will be happier, the car will handle bumps slightly better, etc...

You should do a 245/35/19 Front instead of a 255/30/19 front

a 30 profile will be too short

245/35 275/35 has been done by many members with success

AD08s run wide, so you have a chance of rubbing with a 255/35, but it depends on how dropped you are in the GC kit, and what your camber is up front

if you're running -3 camber and aren't really dropped, then you shouldn't have a problem fitting the 255/35/19 AD08s in the front

but if you're stock alignment (about -1.1), and dropped quite a bit, you should expect rubbing with the 255/35/19 AD08

Btw, if you did PSS, you shouldn't have an issue with 255/35

It's just that the AD08s run square/wider than most other tires

i run 275 30 19 up front with no rubbing on 19x9.5 @ 22 te37 SL's

i do think you should be rubbing on your wheels however you do want to match OD closest to OEM

The 275/30-19 size is a tricky one because it is 1% smaller in diameter than the factory 245/35-19 because of it's smaller sidewall profile. We've chosen this size a number of times also, for this same reason.

That was my next question. Would that not make it push or at least over-steer less?

The big question is who's got the best pricing on the AD08 tires?

I run 265/30/19, 295/30/19 in AD08's and with some adjustments in tire pressures have found a very neutral setup for me but did feel like the car pushed a bit more at the limit but the difference was unnoticeable on the street. BTW, love the tires
