Yes I did. I think the VPH guy recommended the lowest (45ah?) setting, but I don't recall precisely the setting value(s) now, only that I did that step

I just had to remove my VPH1200 battery and reinstall a regular AC delco AGM battery to get pass some electrical problem I had with my ABS system. The battery is 1 1/2y old and measures 13.2V fully charged (engine off), and keeps it voltage for a longggg time.
However, my car is parked outside all year round, in NY. And someone told me that the voltage from this battery can fluctuate quite a bit in cold weather and that may explain why I could not get rid of my four ABS codes (one of which complained about low voltage), which wouldn't go away after getting reset but disappeared (except for one) after installing the AC Delco battery. Anyone else seen anything like this?

I've installed the VP1200 in my E90 M3. I will code the car to 40Ah AGM So far so good! Thank you Richbot for all the updates in the thread! For reference, my E90 had the stock battery which was still going strong after 9 years. |

7 years and counting on the Voltphreaks. I put the car on a tender if it's going to get cold and sit for a long time, but otherwise I don't even bother. It just works.
