This is the quite honestly the most F******G idiotic thing I've read in quite some time. Win or lose in the Finals, Mavs were the best team to come out of the WC this year PERIOD.

In your eyes, is there a distinction between making an actual foul look more dramatic (intentionally or unintentionally) and creating a foul by deliberately making body movements to create a false sense of contact?

Besides the obvious answer, the latter situation is a pre-meditated action. They drive to the basket and try to create contact, which I have no problem with. The issue comes when they create their own contact; It's the same thing as a soccer player falling down and acting hurt. Instead of continuing to drive to the basket, attempting to draw legitimate contact, and getting an and 1, they anticipate that there's going to be contact and they contort their bodies in a way as to deceive. I understand the importance of drawing fouls to get into the bonus and drawing fouls to get certain players into foul trouble, but you are blind to the ridiculousness because you are a Miami fan, simple as that.

This issue in the league, which seems to be getting worse and worse every year, has just really hit home for me and many others because of the fact that it's happening to our team and it happening in the Finals. I'm not saying that it's necessarily affecting the outcome of the series or anything like that, it's just really painful to watch. Call me a cry baby all you want.

What? I never made any argument about anything in this thread, in fact I actually agree with you on the whole flopping thing! What I found funny is how you make it seem like thats all the Heat do, as if thats the only reason why they made it this far. I've seen the same BS from both sides as well as every other team in the NBA, there isn't a rule on it so of course players are going to take advantage of that but don't make it seem like the Heat are the cause of the problem. No one is calling you a cry baby here...

Human nature tells me that might be one dud of a thread.

Throughout sports history teams/individuals get on a roll of winning and it then comes to an end. Then someone/team else comes along and does it...repeat.

A dynasty does not last forever.

Out of all the talent in the western division and the Mavs made it..
They are tied with an extremely talented team..

That situation isn't likely to change now that Sir Charles has called Heat fans the worst in the NBA.
