M3 and Lambo

So, this weekend, my Bday present from the Fiancee was a 7 lap racing experience at Las Vegas speedway. I decided to drive the Lambo Superleggera. OMG that car was insane. Acceleration and sound was insane, along with cornering. Best experience I have done, words can not describe and best of all, I passed a 458 Italia on the track!!! Ha.... It was sad to say that after I was done, I climbed back in my M3 and left the track... MY M3 felt so slow!!!

Nice, I've always wanted to do this. Apparently there are options that you can rent the car and take it out to hoover dam. I imagine picking which car was a rather difficult choice as well...

This is something I want to do as well! what other cars are there to pick? what was the company you went with?

I did the same thing at LVMS but I used the 911. It was fun to pass the Lambos and Ferraris. When I went (early 2011), they also had an Audi R8 and and Aston Martin Vantage available.

ah... m3 feels like a poor mans car after you sit in a car like that...

BTW looks like that guy is trying to get you out of the car and you are refusing to.

Very nice - my company is sending a few people out to Vegas for the same thing - 5 cars, 4 laps in each - I'm so jealous.

One thing I wonder, how is the attitude of the instructors there? I just watched a video of a guy lapping with F458, and the instructor said up shift at 7500rpm... The guy wasn't really good I think, the car didn't even break a sweat. I wonder if you wanna hammer it down, would they let you?

I'd do 5 lap in F430 Scuderia, F458, Aventador, SLS, and MP4-12C. I may swap the SLS with V8 Vantage or Gallardo.

I went with Exotic Racing, http://www.exoticsracing.com/ They had a lot of cars, 430's, Gallardo's, 458's, R8's, Austin Martins, Z06, Murcielago's, one Aventador, and one Merc SLS.

LOL, I got passed by a silver 911 with red rims... I couldnt believe how I was not able to keep up with that car!!!

My guy was totally cool. His name was Todd. After showing me the car, he asked about my driving experience or track experience. Then he said I can go as fast as I can push myself. I knew he was gonna be cool from the second I turned on the track, he told me to floor it. So from a stop, I punched it, a little tire spin, and I was gone in the first corner... From what I saw, all of them were cool with full hammer all around the track.... Oh, and they accept tips... So if he lets you have fun, he knows he will get a tip....

You can go as fast as you want.

They ride shotgun so there is nothing they can do if things start to get sideways....literally.

Guy before me put the Murcielago into the infield after jumping on the brakes after the ass started to slide out in Turn 1.

I took the GT R, Murci, Scud and 458. Tons of fun and worth the price of admission even if it's actually a very short time.
