[QUOTE=sylonien;
I might get the micro filter changed as well, but just wondered if it "needs" changing every time as suggested.

.[/QUOTE]

if you like to smell/breath fresh filtered air then the answer is yes

it only one change per year which you can do yourself

Might do it too then, doesn't smell fresh now and I often smell petrol for some reason and road fumes. Hope that will solve it.

Did a aircon service with my 335i, it was nice and clean. Feel a bit daft doing a aircon service now when its like 0C degrees outside. I know its not just for that purpose, but feels like I will get more out of it with a fresh recharge when its actually summer

I asked about the plus4 but they said its not applicable to my car?? or that its a package that you pay for when you buy the car?! Have I been bull****ted?

So anyway, finally finally done. Oil was brought from Halfords for £76 9 ltrs. They kindly returned the 250 ml back as well. Washed and vac the car. Wasn't going to let them do it but hey. Total is £360 incl. oil and its all officially stamped.

Didn't do diff and gearbox this time around. But instead did the micro / air filter cause the CBR / key showed up when it was scanned. So did those instead. Brake oil due October, so maybe do the rest of the fluids then.

All in all, was good BUT when I went for a blast the other day, the engine light came on and I checked under the hood, the MAF cable was undone. Not sure if its my crazy driving or they knocked it off when changing filter cause its right next to it. :mad: Luckily the error cleared itself eventually. Also they dripped quite bit of oil around the filter area. :mad:
