Fuel Pressure Help

My car is not holding fuel pressure after shut off. If it sits for more than a day it has a long crank. If I drive it and turn it off and on throughout a day it cranks fine. To avoid the supper long cranks when it sits for a week or so I have to do multiple key cycles but it's still a long crank.

Any insight on where to start first? I put in a fresh fuel pump about 6 months ago.

Are you throwing any codes?

I wonder if your fuel pressure sensor has failed?

Next time you do spark plugs pay attention to see if you have any wet plugs or they smell strongly of fuel. You might even take a bore scope to the cylinders to look for signs of leaky injectors or bore scoring.

Injectors are probably leaking and not holding pressure.
