half this forum turns their cars into hot rods. they stroke their car, do this and that supercharge and what do they do? 0-130 times or 60-130 times or 1/4 mile times. rarely do you see them hit the track and when they do they overheat or kaboom!

course, not naming anyone in particular, srsly. Was true with the E46 crowd and even more true with the E92.

very true, but in terms of hot rod styling like the pic posted, the two should never be mentioned together lol. Styling aside, I'd much rather compare the m3 to a muscle car

you have no concept of what a 'hot rod' is. an M3 of ANY year could never be a 'hot rod'

Boy, you really are a fruitcake

Pencilgeek with his supercharged stroker motor getting one of the fastest lap times at Mfest this past weekend. He was just one of many ESS and Gintani cars out on the track that did not go kaboom.

you butthurt or something? I never said pencilgeeks car going kaboom but I heard that there were many that did overheat, etc. Pencilgeeks' car one way or another is made more for straight line than anything, nothing wrong with that. He spent so much on the stoker kit + supercharger and many other endless mods like Amuse exhaust, why not invest in Motons/Ohlins instead of just Eibach? Again nothing wrong with the way Pencilgeek and Autotalent built the car, IMO they did a great job. The way certain ppl had to come in and defend the M3 all high and mighty is a bit silly. I may be a fruitcake but at least I won't pretend my car is something when its not, and I'll call things out like I see it.

In the end, what's wrong with "hot rod" anyways? I wouldn't take any offense if someone called my car a 'muscle car' or 'hot rod'. Then again I don't have a micro-penis, wat?

Does my butt hurt, what are you 17 years old? I was responding to your ignorant statement above. The video was just a demonstration of the fact that the ESS & Gintani cars often hit the track and don't go kaboom.
