New purchase! E92 AW/Black/CF 6 MT Fully loaded.
Hey guys, I'm Justin. I'm back in the M world! I had an E46 M3 LSB and a stage 3 S4. I sold the M3 to get into a 996 Turbo or E92 M3. I was inches away from buying a 2003 X50 Turbo. Any way, I lost interest in that car, and went with the M.
It's fully loaded, minus Dct. It's got only a few things, but plan on doing some more down the road. Everything is sound and I love it. I may tone down the exhaust with some resonators, but other than that, it's perfect. Mods thus far: Full header-back RPI GT-M cat-less ESS flash tune Painted reflectors Black side gills and kidney grilles Exhaust clip. Here she is. I would like to get your input on the angel eyes. I like the hyper white halos to replace the factory yellow one. I think I'm looking for the same color as the 2011 M3s. Any way, I've looked up LUX and OSS. Any take on either? Also, I would like to get your input on CF side mirror covers. I've seen $700 ones all the way down to $2XX. Any luck with a good looking CF mirrors? Thanks guys! Justin

Congratulations on the new car! If you are looking for an affordable plug and play solution, LUX is the way to go. A lot of people that have the OSS setup don't regret getting them. If $$ is no object and you can afford to be without your headlights for a few days, then that might be an option you want to consider. We also carry the carbon fiber mirror shell replacements. These would compliment your roof nicely. I would also recommend completing the carbon fiber theme with a Vorsteiner diffuser, boot lid, and front lip Happy modding!

It's a bmw OEM part, so you can get it from any of the vendors...including the dealership.
Getbmwparts has it, I'm sure IND has them as well as EAS, just depends on who has the best price and who is willing to get them to you faster. This thread has some nice pictures...may give you an idea of what the splitters look like... http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=601398 |

The front splitters are OEM parts (kind of like a front lip) that come from BMW. I believe IND has them as well, you can check them out. I got mine when I ordered the car from BMW. I like them better than any of the lips out there, but that's just me, as a lot of people prefer the full lips.
As for lighting, I say LUX all the way. If money ain't a thang, then go with OSS and you'll be totally satisfied! You can check out my garage and look at the splitters in the pic. They are CF. IND can paint them for you I think if you'd like that! http://www.m3post.com/forums/bpgarag...o=view&id=5420
