Overrated? I don't think he's rated highly other than a stable backup.

Sasha really didn't do anything last year, especially in the playoffs. Big threes? lol The two fts he hit were nice but the Lakers were still up anyways. Farmar had some nice moments but if you look at the big picture, he didn't do much either. Not to mention whenever he was in the game the defense took it right to him. Farmar had about 1 game in each series he made an impact, other than that, not much.

The Spurs are having a fantastic year and the Lakers are in second place. They are doing okay.

i suppose the numbers match, but the players don't...Gasol cannot play center for extended minutes, granted that he's done it before, but he'll get murdered down low with the Perkins and Howards of the world..

The Lakers just need some kind of motivation for the rest of the season and be healthy for the playoffs...

And why does Denver do this?

They are looking for young talent, very good lottery picks, and expiring contracts. This does 1 of 3, IF they want Bynum who is an injury question mark.

Why do the Lakers do this? Chris Anderson is a terrible 1v1 defender and lacks bulk. What he did a couple seasons ago, he isn't nearly the same player. He is a backup center that gets pushed around. Lakers need better D, not a SF who is a volume shooter/high scorer.

In the Conference they are 2nd place. Well not anymore since Spurs beat them last night. They are 3rd behind Mavs. OKC and NO are just 1.5-2 game behind.

But if you look at the big picture they are like 6th in the league. Boston, Miami, Chicago, Spurs, Dallas are above them and they lost to every one of those teams. When the playoff comes, you really need that home court advantage.
They are playing Hornets, Boston and Knicks next week.
