I found the video entertaining even though there were some errors in the car specs. The one true thing he said, "if this were my car it would need an aftermarket exhaust". Very true!

How can the car be a 2011? It has a 2009 license plate, around July 2009 time frame. Are we sure this is even a 2011?
Aren't the m3 tailights in the video older ones anyways... |

Well said -
He gave the car a great review and got the giggles when he applied the throttle 'cause he liked it so much and said so repeatedly. Whoever wrote the lead in got a couple of things wrong but who cares. wtf more do you want ? Quote:

Just like he used to be a comedian, he used to be a car guy. He couldn't even bother to learn the freaking main facts HIMSELF, as he obviously didn't know them before. Or now. Car guys don't need a freaking producer to tell you basic car stats of an M car , even when you don't own one. And if you're going to be on the air, giving the impression of an auto enthusiast, at least have somebody recheck them for you. He's just an egomaniac freak that just keeps buying cars for attention. If he was a real enthusiast he'd be at least racing vintage cars, or taking racing classes to drive better. And that might have kept his fat a$$ from getting larger. Ha ha. Enough crap. That's the worst M3 review I've read by far .

His use of the word "sedan" is correct. Sedan refers to any vehicle with two rows of seats. It has nothing to do with the number of doors. As far as a car guy, there are probably very few people on this board with his skills, desire and ability to "restore" vintage cars. Yes, he has help, but he does a lot of the work himself. 20" blacked out wheels and an aftermarket exhaust does not make a "car guy". It's just indicative of someone who wants to personalize his car, making it a little different than the next person's. I do the same. All those that have brought a 2002 back to life . . . Stand up! |

I respect him for the car enthusiast that he is, but he has to work on his game (like everyone said already). That car is obviously not a 2011 (tailights, like someone already mentioned before). Though I like that little part in the middle about comparing this to the ongoing racecar, and the parts of the clips showing the exhaust sound. I never get bored to it lol
EDIT: and I like how when Jay mentions the functional hood intake, they focused in on the dummy one on the right side lolll Last edited by henryyxyu; 06-07-2010 at 11:35 PM.. |

To the people that think Jay is a wannabe car enthusiast, you've got to be seriously kidding me.
Jay got some figures wrong but the decades of history in his head can prove that he is more of a car enthusiast then anyone on this forum. BTW to the moderator who put this as Jay putting a "2011" M3 in his stable is 100% wrong. Jay was given this car to give his review on it. Despite the fact that some of the cars that he does review are cars that he personally owns, this one is not. If Jay wanted a M3 it would be fully loaded with the zcp pack on a lci model (011) at the very least.
