Complete Headlight Project

Been planning this project for months... and just before Christmas dove into it. I'll probably get flack as I drifted from the nostalgic look of the BMW AE's but wanted a more aggressive looking headlight. 2 full months of work but here are some pictures... I'm hoping to get some better ones soon.

Original setup:
Bi xenon adaptive headlights (e93 M3)

New setup/changes:
- Split the bi xenon hi/low beams to individual LEDs
- New angel eyes are no switchback LEDs
- Moved the adaptive inner bulb to where the turn signal was and used a canbus LED
- elected to keep the corner LED for now...was coded out but added it back
- Low beams are still adaptive and move horizontal and vertical
- high beams are fixed mounted
- still debating if I wanna add eyebrows or leave them off

That's incredible work. I'm not hating it by any means. Reminds me of the new Lexus designs which isn't a bad thing.

At the rate BMW is molesting angel eyes these days it shouldn't be long before they start looking like this.

Great job!

Thanks! There were a few headaches but overall everything fit rather well. I have pictures of the work in progress that I'll upload sometime

Can't wait to see how they flow with the rest of the car. The work looks nothing short of amazing brother!

Interesting setup! A+ for the creativity!
Definitely need to some more pictures, both day and night outside from a bit farther back.

Nice job - I wouldnt want to tackle such a project on my own!

That shroud design is a lot of nice custom fabrication there. Good work!

Not a fan of the ///M stickers all over the place, that looks extremely tacky. It's a M3, it doesn't need more ///M badges to define itself...

Thanks... still in the "feeling it out" stage. Just got them on the car and am waiting to see what all I want to change before I tear them apart again.

The LED hi/low beams and shrouds are Toyota. All other plastics was heated and manipulated to get the shape I wanted

Pretty cool. Can we see a pic of the lights from the front?

Absolutely, I'll try to get some this weekend. I've tried several times but they are new clear lenses and I end up getting a reflection of my surroundings... it's hard to find the right lighting

I have this one from the other night right after the install with the low beams on. I'll need my wife to take pictures with her high end camera... iPhone isn't doing it justice and I'm getting too much glare.

Some full frontal shots. It's quite difficult to get straight on because of the glare.

I think that adding an eyebrow would conflict with the upper lines. Looks good AS IS. You should consider bulk producing these headlights (or halos) and sell them, haha.

Completely agree, which is why I left them off. With them on it does make it look slightly more aggressive but does take away from the lights.

Looks great! Definitely changes the "attitude" of the car. It makes it look kind of angry :-)
