Front OEM Rotor/Caliper on rear??

does anyone know if the front brake setup will fit on the rear of the m3?? i notice the front is bigger so i was thinking of either putting a front on the rear and have the same size front, front and back, or putting a BBK on the front then putting my front on the rear

any input on this would be great. as other may have read bf i am trying to avoid buying a full BBK kit as i don't track but do appreciate great brakes and having a full BBK on my last E46 M3 left me with the wonderful taste of awesome brakes but don't want to spend that money again

so i thought of the idea of above, any info if these will fit would be great thanks

Before you get flamed...

This CAN NOT be done because caliper mounting on the front & rear are different. Also, the front are much bigger because the front brakes do most of the braking on all cars. The rear is just for assistance & for the traction control functions.

So pretty much if you want bigger calipers on the rear, you will have to go BBK.

i could care less if i get flamed. i am not a mechanic so that is why i asked if i could put a front set up on the rear to get a bigger rear brakes without going BBK

i realize the front are bigger that is why i wanted to put it on the rear and then go with a BBK up front or just have 2 front set ups

thank you for the info i appreciate it

do you know the mm size of the oem brakes?? like i know most BBK set ups are 380mm front and 355mm rear. do you know the sizes of the oem ones so i can see how much bigger it is going to be from oem

thanks
