You might have to take your car to the gynecologist. It could have gonorrhea! j/k
They're right bout it the chemical reactions though. The cats do filter out the chemical breakdown of the gasses coming out. I would hate to be behind you with my windows down sucking on that unfiltered toxic M3 fumes. But I'm sure it hella sounds good! |

BTW, prior to the cats the exhaust is about 900-degrees F while after the cats the temps reach around 1300 F. That's speaking generically. The M3 may be more or less.

Dont think it has to do with heat i had some kind of residue noticeable on my black car. After a rain it looked like water spots only on the back said of the car bumper taillights and trunk all had it. I tried everything even claybar to clean it off nothing worked. But someone told me to use vinegar/water mixed 50:50 and wipe it off with a microfiber. Well I didn't have that on hand but I did have some Windex with Vinegar and i sprayed that on it and it wiped right off. Just like brand new again no more spots after that.

It's a disaster with AW, but it's a trade off for a nice exhaust sound and bump in hp.

Let's see, removing the cats...
1. makes the car sound tinny/raspy 2. makes it smell like shit (well, sulphur) 3. pollutes more 4. requires coding to ignore CEL 5. won't pass emissions in any state, especially those with visual And now we can add number 6, "covers the bumper in yellow grime." Remind me again why you would want to remove a cat converter? For a few horsepower at WOT at redline?

I am cattles for about 3 month now. Sometimes when the wind blows from behind and my door/window is open i get a nice smell of unburned fuel. Every time i smell it, i feel like i shorten my life by couple of weeks haha. This weekend i was waxing the car and i noticed that the wax would not work on the rear bumper, the applicator would slide super easily and wax would turn into a weird color. I also live in the state where no emissions are required so i cam drive around cattles as long as i want to The sound is awesome as well.
