ESS 625 install M3 E90

Just finished up another install. This one is an E90 M3 with the 625 kit and the Akrapovic Evolution exhaust system. It also has BMW Performance seats and Brembo brake upgrade.

That oil filter lid is different and would require a special tool if I haven't mistaken it for something else. The '07 E92s requires a 36mm socket to undo.

Is that the case Andrew?

It's a plastic cap over the stock oil filter cap/cover. This car has some other differences i noticed during the install as well.

looks awesome!

with the modified air box, which is the main air intake now?

does the bottom of the stock plenum look like the ESS cover with the connections to the individual throttle bodies?

Sorry for the silly questions!

My Car!
Mt Eliza - Next to Mornington
Seats are BMW performance, through the Local Dealer (Mornington
BMW), who have been superb with me for years.
Suspension is OEM. Have 18" advan ST with Yoko AD50 for the track.
Speaking of service, Andrew at SouthernBM is the gold standard.
He has guided and advised me well through all the upgrades,
And I have only praise for the whole team.
Re C63's etc - I don't indulge in traffic, but have had a few smiles
At recent track days.
I track about 1-2 times/month at Sandown, Winton and PI.
Hope to see some of you there sometime.
Happy to answer any Q's re upgrades, etc.
Cheers

Sure,
Be great to catch up for a coffee (guessing from your name you know a thing or two about that!)
My 11 yo starting year 7 at TC next year.
Do you have any track days in your Schedule?
I'll PM you next week or two to see if we can arrange a cuppa.
Cheers
James
