Dominos thin crust is pretty good, not mom'n pop good, but $5-$7 good.
ANyway, have you seen lease rates lately? It's probably just 1 night of work more vs. a honda civic. I'd rather the guy deliver in a BMW than a pedo van. |

Also, the car could belong to his boss that owns a Domino's franchise? Or he is simply making extra income on the side to make payments. Better then dealing drugs or pimping

I used to work for Dominos when I was in college in like 2000. You can actually make pretty decent money (~$15/hour) for such a mellow job. Much of that is essentially tax free because it is tips. I'd say if you work full time you probably make about $40K per year.
You spend a majority of the time in your car so it's nice to have a decent car to be in. I had a little Chevy S10 pickup at the time and it def got uncomfortable to be in after a while. When I worked at dominos there were plenty of guys with brand new Tacomas and Accords. Those really aren't any less expensive than a lightly used 328. Yet, I don't think anyone would think anything of those being pizza delivery vehicles. I had a roommate who delivered in a A4 for a long time. Is that a fail too? I don't see what the issue is here... other than the fact that you assume that anyone who delivers pizza is either broke, a moron for having a nice car, or both. Seriously sometimes people on this forum act like having a BMW is like owning a Ferrari or something. So ridiculous. |

One reason a BMW is a bad delivery car would be that the driver's probably getting far less tips than if he'd drive a beater. Maybe its psychological, but you would think people would tip some dude in a trashed civic more than someone in a new BMW?

Having a $40k BMW is no big deal, C'mon. People living Above their means, you have a roomate, gotta have a second job to afford your car payments, don't own a house.
Geez what's wrong with this picture? How much money do you have to make a year to be able to afford a 40k car on top of your mortgage? |

It's all relative, who knows...maybe he/she is a multi-millionaire that just wants to experience life...and instead of making pizza delivery with his/her Veyron...he bought a cheap-ass BMW 3er to do the greasy work...

I figured if a BMW was going to deliver pizza it would be something better...like papa john's.
Seriously, a job is a job. Respect to all those who earn an honest living. Here is the problem...your costs go up since you are burning premium gas. Then imagine using an M3 to deliver pizza! It would be an awesome job but you'd spend more money in gas than you'd make.

I knew this kid in college who used to throw those pizza delivery signs on his car if he had been drinkin. He said most cops left him alone, they didn't suspect him of drinkin and driving at 1 or 2 in the morning thinking he's out there working.

so what's wrong with honest living?
Need I say that I began delivering newspaper at night, and attended nursing school during the day to maintain my bills, and be able to survive. Now that I am a nurse, I appreciate what the LORD GOD has offered me; that is an honest living, and the gift of earning a nursing degree. Don't never make fun of people that are making honest living. One day you might end-up in their shoes. |

The pizza deliverer knows the value of money. He has my respect. I do think many BMW drivers would take a job like that. He drives a BMW and deliver pizzas for a living. Would you guys stoop that low to deliver pizzas to pay for a 328?

cant read everything so ill post my comment and hope it hasnt been said. The problem with this is that he will be getting less tips. I delivered pizza when I was younger and several of the drivers had a second car that was a POS More tips in a crappy car trust me.
