According to an instructor at my race track, a stock M3 can do about 1:48. Mine does 1:45 with all the modifications. For reference a stock GTR runs ~1:42, ZR1 ~1:39, GT3 Cup ~1:33.
I cannot quantify how much dive/body roll is reduced as I do not have any suspension potentiometers, but I can definitely say that coming into corners the car settles in perhaps half the time vs. stock. As for spring rates I have 500/750. A racing driver says I can still up it a bit as the car is heavy. The way he put it is: "the car starts rolling and then it's like oh shit all the weight is transferred to the outside." The ride is stiffer but not bad at all. I know people who have 550/900 all the way to 800/1100, KW CS is obviously 500/800. I don't really mess with the damper settings anymore between street and track. I keep it in track settings at all times. What I realize is that there are street cars, and then there are track cars. It's not worth it trying to make your car somewhere in between. My dampers are set at the lower spectrum out of 15 clicks. These are supposed to handle up to 1000# springs so there are definitely a lot of capability left. |

Club Sports are 2-way only. Motorsports are 2, 3, or 4-way. From my understanding the latest CS and MS 2-way are almost identical, so CS should be upgradeable. Do confirm with Moton though.

Can you provide dyno plots for front dampers? The one you provided earlier in this thread, I guess is for the rear one?
Maybe you could tell... those CS 2-way are the same like they put in GT4 class car? Thanks |
