Angel eye bult keeps burning out

So I am on my fourth set now and I am trying to figure out why my right side angel eye bulb keeps burning out. At first I figured it was the bulb itself or the resistor that comes with the bulb, but now I am starting to think there could be another reason for this. So it has only been the right side that burns out. Could this be due to the seal on the top cover having an issue? I inspected it and it looks fine to me. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do? I am now considering wrapping the cables once I install the new set but I do not want the resistor to overhead and burn out.

What "bulb" (with a resistor) are you using? What voltage are you getting to the harness? Have you coded the angel eyes at all?

When I bough the car it has AiB aftermarket bulbs, in which the right one burned out after me driving the car for a few months. Then I went through two sets of angel eye bulbs from EAS:

and now I just got my set of the LUX bulbs, so im asking for some advice before I install them

The reason I asked if the angel eyes were coded is the prior owner might have brightened them before he put leds in..? I'm almost positive most LED bulbs were designed with the factory voltage. More voltage can over heat the components.

I'm only guessing btw. A good place to start would be taking a voltage though.

I would swap the bulb right to left just to verify the bulb is certainly dead. Don't need to fully install it but plug it in.

Weird that is would fail on the same side always..

I still have the AiB set that came with the car, so I could try that one, I sent back the two kits that I bought from EAS because I only had them on the car for a few weeks and they burned out. So I guess I could try installing the one working bulb from the AiB kit in the left side, it just annoys the heck out of me driving with one not working lol.

FYI, I also have EAS AiB kit... and have been having the same problems over and over again. Its a real pain in this ass but I have contacted EAS every time and they have replaced the bulb portion under warranty.

It reminds me of "Tommy Boy" when they talk about a guaranteed piece of shit... but Im glad that EAS at least stands behind their "piece of shit" bulbs.

yeah at least they replaced the bulbs with no fuss, but still its so annoying having it burn out then contacting them and waiting a few days for it to come in. That's why I went with the Lux ones and im really hoping it will not happen again

Sorry! Mine also burned out on the right side but since mine has been converted to a dedicated track car, I decided to switch back to the OEM bulbs.
