Comfort Access: aftermarket app to code keyfob?

Hey guys,

Is there a way of coding my replacement comfort access keyfob without going to the dealership?

Is the key you purchased working without CA if so yes you can enable CA with DIS or ISTA D

Yes, the key operates the car with the exception of comfort access features. Are either of those software reasonably priced for consumers? Should my Indy have them?

That is a good question to ask your indy, but I've also seen some of those fancy SnapOn tablets enable keys as well.


You may be able to find BMW DIS on a virtual machine. google
