I believed F1 is the full exhaust meaning full xpipe and axle back exhaust

The F1 version includes a different muffler design for a louder and more exotic sound. Its only sold as a complete system with the X pipe and front pipes.

The standard system can be bought in parts, and the standard mufflers are not as loud.

What the hell? Why on earth did they do that?? I was planning on buying the Innotech exhaust (only axleback for now bc i can't afford the whole system), but if the F1 and the sport mufflers are different, then I'm not too sure I want to do that anymore...

Any clips of the sport axleback? sport axleback with the xpipe and catless pipes you can get with it?

Wow that actually does not sound bad. What is the difference in Decibel level between full sport and F1? Seems like the Sport system keeps the original exhaust note of the M3 more than the F1

Yeah, its got a nice sound. The F1 style is definitely louder and changes the tone quite a bit. Sounds good though.

I think I will have to join the line of those confused here as well. I think we need a clip for both exhausts, was thinking about their system. And I have another 2 questions (they are probably dumb ones too), which one of the exhausts has the "valve" on the muffler that you can open and close? And which exhaust is the one they say will NOT throw a CEL?

I explained it above. Both have valves and neither should throw a CEL.

That video was posted by on of our customers. It is the full "standard" IPE system and not the "F1". If you want to hear what the axle back sounds like with stock front pipes and xpipe, check out this video.

Very nice! Is there a dyno graph for IPE exhaust? How many valve controlled exhaust systems are available for E9x M3? I heard you loose torque when you open the valve. Correct me if I am wrong.

We will do the DYNO very soon on this.

You do lose back pressure when the valve is open. That's why IPE's vavletronic is more unique because they have "Auto" mode which the valve open and close with your throttle control.

Let me know... I want to hear what a full F1 system sounds like. The regular full version is INSANELY loud already with the valve open...
