noise from transmission?

when my car is cold, theres only a little sound when i shift to D, R or shift back to N, and when the car is totally warm, oil temp to mid, i can hear that clearly in the car with window closed. the sound is like the gear is hard to get in. also, 3rd gear to 2nd gear and 1st gear is not smooth. i feel like the there a brake during down shift. anyone can tell me why?

i will post a video for the sound or noise from transmission later.

Nothing weird for me, all I heard on your video was normal, transmission does make this sound on my ride too since I got it last summer.

I know on my car it's makes a very noticeable clunking noise going into and out of neutral. As far as I know it is normal.

Just to get more info, can you toggle the sound, say when sitting at a stop light and going from neutral to drive, and vice versa? If you can and here and "clunk clunk" that should be normal.

Normal, I would say. My car does the same..Noticed it the first day I picked it up from dealer. but only can hear it when D-N, and N-D, when the car is "cold".

These cars make so many noises it is hard to tell what is normal or not. Best bet is to take the car to the dealer so they can tell you it is normal and they couldn't reproduce the sound.
