ess e flash tune questions

Hi everyone, just got the e flash kit from ess, have a few questions since i'm still a noob about ecu tune DIY like this. I know I need to send the factory ecu file to ess and wait for the reply. So does it mean i can still drive the car or i have to wait until i load the new software and then drive it? and if possible, can anyone provide the detailed process of doing this?Thanks!

Yes you can use your car as normal. E-flash just makes a copy of the original, it does not remove it. You can use your car as normal until you get your tuned file back
