OEM Exhaust Mod DFW
Anybody know of a shop in Dallas/FW that will do the exhaust mod (perforated method preferably)? Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks |

Hey guys, I'm in the dfw area.. Is there a thread with locals or about gtg?
Also exhaust mod is fairly easy I can help you do it.... Just an angle grinder some tubing and a bit of welding, or we could do it to my stock exhaust and just swap them since mine is already off. |

Taking it off isn't bad other than the annoyance of those damn rubber hanger bushing things....
I was going to do this mod but just bought Megan system instead and I'm really happy with it. I am about to add the sosi x pipe too. |

I have thought about the Megan as I don't want to spend a lot but want to liven up the exhaust. How is the Megan? Is it noticeably louder than stock? I don't think I want to go the xpipe route as that may be a bit too loud for me.

noticeably louder yes, but loud no. quality is actually REALLY good and fits perfect with no weirdness.
i live in fort worth and work in irving if you want to hear it another thing to consider is that if you did the megan and it was just barely not loud enough you can knock out the 250 cell baffle material inside your resonators and it makes it a tiny bit louder |

I'm selling mine. I live in Las Colinas as well. It's off the car already.

You have any sound clips since it's off the car? Why are you selling? I may be interested and could take a look at it when I'm back at work in las colinas next Tuesday.

Selling because I have a titanium exhaust now since I'm trying to drop weight. The Modded exhaust still sounds better than the exhaust I got. LOL. I'll miss the noise. |

I ran mine catless for a while. It doesn't drone, but anytime you breathe on the gas it gets pretty loud and boomy.
But I also kept the secondary cats and resonators. It was a great noise. I loved it. It sounds better than my current setup. Just heavier! |
