E92 M3 Lumbar Support Controls Broken?
i ran into a strange failure today on my fairly trouble-free 2008.
i have some inexplicable back pain lately, and today, i decided it was time to fiddle with the lumbar support. usually i have it deflated as it bothered me in the past. anyway, when i reached down to try to adjust it, the circular 4-way directional pad was spinning freely in place. i couldn't get the adjustments to work. i haven't adjusted it in months to maybe even up to a year, so i suspect it may have happened sometime during a service or valet incident. anyone else ran into this? also my drivers side window makes an awful rattly noise. have a service appointment on the 21st to try to address these issues. cheers!

Seen this before. The button comes apart internally(happens to a lot of BMW's actually).
They should just replace it pretty quickly as long as it's in stock. The window issue, I have seen the regulators come loose from time to time. Good luck!
