*STALKER*: You are wasting your money going with a 365mm Brembo BBK. (front)

You know you want the increased thermal capacity (and superior braking leverage) of the larger 380mm steel friction surface.

Just buy the 380mm BBK front and rear. I can recommend a set of high quality 18" track wheels that are guaranteed to fit over them without spacers. (with the proper clearances)

PM me for details, so we don't contaminate rldzhao's brake thread.

LMB, OP has given the OK for more info. What wheels would you choose?
What would be proper clearance around a BBK?

Volk TE37s will clear 380MM disc.
I totally see LMBs point about the 380mm disc, but Im still leaning towards the 365mm kit for my specific needs.

Here are pics of clearances from my buddy's M3, of a Brembo 6-pot 380mm kit with Volk TE37 18x9.5 et35:

I've heard the CCW's will fit too. Just wondering if there were other options.

Also, is that enough clearance with the TE-37's??

I think StopTech recommends at least 2mm of clearance.

Talk to CCW, their C14 one piece forged wheels have plenty of room for clearance and well priced with minimal weight increase over stock.

For a general idea

CCW 14

CCW C10, an idea for color

P.S. I am very interested to see what size 18" wheel you will select to fit over the sexy 380mm kit. CCW 14 should be a good candidate, but clearance is still something to be discussed with CCW.

I believe RE fitted 18" CCWs over 380mm Stoptechs.

CCW's are awesome wheels - but pricey @ $1k per wheel

and that 18" clearance over that 380mm kit does not look comfy to me.

I tried the Stop Tech template on my 18" Volks and they fit fine. I also know of a guy that is using an 18" BBS wheel at the track with the 380mm Stoptech kit.

I am thinking our forgestar 18's will clear the kit as well for the track and of course they are light weight
