Coil-overs replace the factory struts. Ergo, no it doesn't work with EDC. You can install the system. It's from TCKline, so you know it's good, but you loose the EDC. |

Looks like someone finally came out with a single adjustable c/o system for our cars. The price seems good too at $1,665.
http://www.tcklineracing.com/suspension.htm I think you'll still need to remove the rear shocks to adjust them though.

If you have edc and get coilovers, say bye-bye to EDC... Had the D/A tck's on my E46 M3 and they were the best coils I've tried on the car! Great system!

So you don't need to fully compress the rear shocks in order to adjust them? That would be pretty sweet.
But you'd stll have to remove the shock mount though, right?

No. You just take the white plastic knob, place it on the top of the shaft (inside the trunk under a cover), and turn it.

I had the TCK Smart Design D/A's on my e46 M3 and they were fantastic. I intend on getting TCKs for the e92 as well.
Regarding EDC, don't hold your breath. The last conversation I had with Pete at TCK, there was no intention of making an EDC-friendly kit. Still, I'm sure it's a fantastic setup. |

Couldn't you just buy the KW EDC units? Someone said they are separate from the coil overs and just there to prevent the fault code.

I have coilovers on my car and after putting them on I am glad to have them, best mod for the money.
Anyway, the real reason why I posted was to ask a question. I dont remember where I herd it from, C&D, R&T or Fifth Gear but isn't it confirmed that the EDC "normal" mode is the fastest time around the track? If true wouldn't it make the option to go to a stiffer setting a useless option therefore eliminating the need for EDC all together? |

If this is true about the EDC compatible systems sign me up!!
TCK will have my money again the very second they are announced and on the market I had the D/A system on my E46 and they were a dream around the track. I am completely sold on TCK's handling and the price point fits perfectly under moton |

in autocross on my e46, i found that i'm faster without a rear sway
but in tracking, i prefer having my rear sway set in the middle with the rear shocks set to a half turn from full stiff. it all depends on what u want i have tck's with 550/600, gc sways, gc fcab, oem rtab with gc delrin shims |
