Clocking losing time, random radio issues?
I know the answer will be, "take it to the dealer." But unless my car is on fire I feel like a nerd getting porched at a high school party whenever I attempt to take my car into the dealer to get anything fixed. The SAs always try to say that its normal or they won't be able to replicate/fix and don't even want to take my car in for service.
Anyways, for the last few days I have needed to adjust the time on my car's clock. On average the clock has been losing approximately 4-10 minutes every 24 hours. Also, normally I leave my cluster display on the digital speedometer and now everytime I start the car it doesn't "remember" the last setting as it has done so in the past and instead defaults to showing the time/temperature. Also, normally I can hit the volume knob in order to turn on the radio without cycling the ignition and today I did so and the radio turned off after approximately 30 seconds of playing and would not turn back on unless the ignition was on. Any ideas? I'm guessing something electronic is dying, maybe the battery is going bad? The car starts fine though. |
