Poll: SG, which interior?

hello folks,

i am leaning towards SG and fox red, and was wondering which fox red:

1. (not-extended) fox red, brightens up the interior, but not too much

2. Extended Fox red; to brighten up the interior even more, and to give it a nicer contrast

3. Red/Black/Black, for a sporty and classy look?


I started out with Red/Black/Black, but now I am considering Extended more after seeing more online pictures.

what you guys think?!! Please share your own experience!!

My old one was. I now have a white with black. I am not a fan of FR at all, so my opinion probably does not matter, but I feel the SG looks classy with black. A real red interior would look sick on SG, but FR looks like the pots my mom puts geraniums in. Sorry.

Black. IMHO, silver inside and gray outside is too similar.

If going red, then just go with the regular red, non-extended.

You have to see the Fox Red / Black / Black in person. Pictures simply do not do it justice.

I have SG w/ FR/B/B and receive nothing but oohs and aahs when people see it. The guys at the Performance Center in Spartanburg were quite impressed and immediately began comparing it to a similar combo available with the E39 M5.

I personally think all FR is a bit garish, but each to his own.

If you are going to go Fox Red, you need some black in there to give it contrast. If not, it is too much Fox Red!

man..sometimes i wish i was buying used lool..dont have to go thru this! this is my first "New" beamer..previous 2 were used and didn't have to worry about color selection sigh!

-had silver interior leather on my 01 540, and i felt the silver was wearing out too quickly
-black is nice, but i am worried about the heat?!
-i want to include some red in there..question is, some red, lots of red, or a mix of red and black?!!

I ordered my SG E92 M3 with Bamboo Beige and love it. there are pics of it on here.


I didn't like the red interior, especially extended leather, and black was too dark and mono-chromatic. (hot on sunny days too.)

I think it all looks great, it comes down to personal preference. I've seen them all and think the fox/black/black is my fave. Nice contrast, not too much not too little, just right.

This is ALL personal preference, so it is imposible to really get a meaningful answer by asking people. PURE opinion. Just make sure you get a good look at Fox Red. It is a little too rust colored for my tastes.

I have Immiketoo's first e92 M3, SG on Black non ext. with carbon leather trim. It's all business inside. If I had ordered new then, I would've gone with Speed Cloth or Fox. If I ordered a car now, I would get the FR/B/B. You get the business with some spice. All 3 options you propose are awesome but only late MY M3s come with the two tone, so its a bit more special. If you go straight fox, go extended.

I am ordering my E93 SG with FR Extended. More red the merrier, IMO. But I have not seen it in person yet.
