I feel your pain. I have about 4k miles on my car and I have the clear bra on the bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors. Chips will find the unprotected areas though no matter what. I've seriously contemplated repainting my entire rear bumper and side skirts due to some tiny chips. My wife wants to kill me, lol.

yeah, it also presents a problem when it gets bad enough that the chips start refracting light. As soon as my M3 left the showroom floor I put clear bra on and included the headlights. Been perfect since.

Yea i did it for 3 years... lately i have been lazy... i go to car wash and just have them deal with it... although my car still looks prestine due to the 3 years being anal.... but now... i think i need a full detail due to me washing the car once a month... before i use to wash it once a week... actually every 5 days. no joke... but now... bored with the car and not caring about it anymore... but i suggest to keep what your doing... in the end it will benefit you.... well thats if you are keeping the car....

Just enjoy it OP! Sounds like a great car and it's obvious you are taking good care of it!

thanks everyone for your comments and warm welcome! i guess i'll have to cope with it for now. somehow, i have heightened sensory everytime i get into this car. just the other day, i asked my wife to hear any squeaks/rattles when i'm driving...she could not hear anything but i swear i hear them! on the edge of schizophrenia...
