I just went there this past sunday with NASA.
Very technical road course but is a lot of fun, once you learn the correct lines.
Take your time before you start pushing hard, it may take more than 3 sessions.
Try to watch this video as many times as you can before you get there:

A few tips from me.
T3 is very fast, e92 m3 stock should be able to take it at about 90mph, but be carefull on track out. If you turn in early, you are going to run out of the road and will end up on the grass.
If that happens, dont try to come back to the track, just keep going on the grass and slowly turn the wheel towards the track surface.
So, for T3 turn in later than you think.
T4 is faster than it seems, brake early and use all the curbs in this section.
Bad accidents happen at T12 because of very high speed. I take it at about 110 mph with r-compound tires, but build up your speed slowly.
You can lift before the turn in, but never lift or brake at turn in. Use lower portion of the curb at the apex and at the exit. If you drop your front left wheel on the grass, the same thing as T3, just go straight instead of correcting it and slowly come back to the track surface.

This is from their website:

Thunderbolt Raceway featuring 2.25 miles of asphalt, 12 challenging turns, a one half mile straightway and approximately 40 acres of full service paddock space. Amenities on this circuit include concession buildings, event garages, twenty (20) VIP Suites, banquet rooms, and a three (3) story timing tower with media

7/10th? If your power is stock, you will probably go 120-123mph at the front streightaway

Side note, what about Lightening, I might get a chance to drive a McLaren 570S on that track which will be easier to hit 100+

Have fun!

I actually enjoy Lightning more than Thunderbolt. Both tracks are fun, though, with unique features that make them interesting.

I went this year for the first time, it was awesome but it also showed me many flaws of the stock edc system. I ended up getting a 1:41 with the chicane on thunderbolt, with better suspension and tires I could've done much better. Also I've done 133 my fastest on the straight, could be going faster if I took the last turn a little faster lol. Heres a comparison of me racing an S4 that day.

It's just another chicane instead of being turn 3 which would normally be another right turn
