Supercharger questions

I'm in the beginning stages of contemplation. Other than paying the BMW premium for an SC I've heard and read a couple things that might keep my car NA specifically relating to off the line speed. I'm told that the 0-60 times are not that impressive compared to stock due to traction issues, especially with the bigger kits. I don't drag race or tack the car but I'd be happy to increase the lower speed times. Would a smaller kit do this or do you run into the same traction issues? Or is there any truth to said traction issues.

Sorry if this is a noob or ridiculous question

I wouldn't be concerned with 0-60 times unless you're drag racing. A supercharger is just gonna make the car significantly faster through the entire rev range. If you just wanna go fast then go that route. If you want to stay NA try 4.1 gearing with a new lsd and maybe carbon drive shaft. Will make the engine feel much lighter and eager to rev. Makes highway driving less pleasant however.

Go for it. Feel free to check out my install thread. Its the best way to get power. The chassis really handle it well also.
