Granted yes - strong legacy to be sure, but still not a great year or two.

Growing up a Leaf fan (I know) I always had to cheer for another Cdn team come the playoffs (as the Leafs were reliably never in the playoffs) and Edmonton was "my" team and set the bar there for a while.

Some amazing years there for sure - but what's the cure now?

Hall and Eberle! Haha, oh yeah and maybe 10 years? Granted they have been very hard to watch and now with all the Drama no stars want to touch us with a 20 foot pole. Oh well...

Right, Eberle is solid.

Rebuilding is tough - it means a few more years of toughing it out and hoping players develop and you never know.

Or you can be like the Canucks and think we have all the pieces in place to get the prize, then get booted in consecutive years by the Hawks -
