Don't listen to the negetive comments from people i just came back from the premiere and it is a fun action packed movie. And Sienna with the dark hair is fukin hot!!!! I dont like her with blond but dark hair damm girl!!! Oh yeah the best stuff is the ninja action.

Just my .02 cents but I thought the film was awful.

Just a sloppy mess that really never gets resolved at the end. I mean there's so many things going at once, AND the flashbacks just killed it for me.

Haven't seen it yet, but I would expect it to be the typical big dumb action movie. This means there will be plot holes galore and complete lack of character development, but I'll love it anyway.

I grew up loving the toys and cartoon, but my fear with this movie, will be that they will follow suit of the newest transformers installment, and completely dumb down the movie for little kids-rather than the adults that grew up with the franchise. Regardless I cant wait to see it

Taking my kids to see it this weekend. Although I don't expect it to be a cinematic masterpiece, I do think it will be entertaining

I never really read any of the comics or anything like that so I went in the movie with an open mind. I also did not know much about the characters except that Duke was the main guy or what not..

Having said that the movie is incredibly entertaining with a lot of coold special effects. This movie isn't trying to win any oscars and they dont try to pretend that they are.

omg that was horrible. i mean, yes ok..i guess it was kind'a entertaining. but flashbacks (too fast and i felt nothing for the character), dialogue..typical blockbuster summer movie i guess, and story line. too jumbled. a couple of my fav lines:

"call me commander"
"i won't give up on you(her)"

set your expectations low and you'll probably like it.

Storyline is too cartoon-ish. the main character just go thought few trainings and become the GI Joe elite group. a lot of special effect / computer graphic look like a low budget movie. the white chick is hot, Korean dude is cool. Fight scene is typical american style.

I went to see it maily because of the suit that I thought would get lots of action (Halo like???)... but it turned out to be silly looking... i thought it would shoot nerf bullets at one point

. I never bought into the super-soldier special weapons stuff in 'current times'. Maybe if the era would have been in the future it might have made some difference. Still..goatees on soldiers? 20-year plus insigna in Marlon and talking to the main character dude who was an officer as if they were the same rank/buddies (yeah... im prior USMC so this stuff bothers me when movies dont take the time to get things right). There were so many fights and so much action that the plot became irrelevant. Go see it for the action not because its 'GI Joe' or you will be disappointed.
