Best entry level supercharger?

im currently full bolt on...> full dinan intake system with air scoops, challenge sport x-pipe with mesitershaft gt2, evosport pulley, and ess custom tune for 94 oct and primary cat delete.

so im think of supercharging entry level so ess 535, vf 540 (looks promising), or even g-power kit. i know all the kits are like kinda the same. but which one would you pick and why.

i want something that will improve the performance on the street coz as u all know our car doesnt have any power under 4k

keep in mind my car is a manual

should i go with a supercharger? or its not going to improve the power down low. if thats the case i guess ill spend the money on some nice concave (20" Interad Forged DTM-10) and some more cosmetic stuff

Vf and ess are both great companies. It's hard to choose. Just pick one you can't go wrong

G power if you have the $$$

Otherwise, VF and ESS are good kits. I personally prefer VF, but I haven't driven the ESS 6xx kit so not a fair comparison

We can still help you out. We offer ESS, G-Power and VF Engineering brands and ship all over the world.

Choice will depend on a number of factors (octane availability, street or track, choice of upgrade paths, etc) we can assist with recommendations to get the kit that's best suited for your needs.

The VF540, or any of our supercharger systems for that matter, all provide power and boost as low as 2000rpm. It was designed for the driver who wants a little more kick on the streets without breaking the bank and is the only system available that includes all the same hardware as the other power stages, making upgrading the VF540 the only cost-efficient option.

Let us know if you have any questions.

ESS 535 is fantastic; all M3 coming out of the plant should be equipped, the car Still an M3 but much better! Si tu parles français, envoie-moi en PM, je te donnerai un feed-back après 18 mois avec le VT-1.

VF > ESS because from my understanding if you upgrade the ESS, the plenum has to be changed also. With VF kit, the the 540 and 620 use the same plenum.

hi, I'm in Gatineau and I just installed a ESS VT1-535 in my manual M3, I don't know for the other kits but I really love mind, it gives plenty of power at all RPM and it's just a animal at high RPM. Also you should consider doing like me for the import of the kit, make it ship to a UPS store right on the other side of the border and go get it yourself, you'll save a lot of shipping, and A LOT of taxes and border fees, that's what i did and it only cost me a couple of $ more then the US retail price for a 2h drive! Also my friend who's a mecanic at Ottos BMW(Ottawa) did the install and really enjoyed the experience, he'd probably be happy to do it for you cheap if you have no one to do it, it's really simple and fast, you could come here in the morning and go back with your car at the end of the day, I'll even go drink a beer with you while he does it! If you have any questions you can PM me no problem, good luck with your decision and no matter which kit you choose, you'll certainly not gonna regret to go FI!!

Edit: by the way I'm french!

VF Engineering's supercharger systems all utilize the Vortech V3 Supercharger, and are upgradeable from VF540 to VF620 to even the VF650.

VF Engineering spends more time focusing on Research and Development than sales, which is why we support VF so much. Their supercharger systems are so reliable that Stasis, the performance/warranty company for Audi ( similar to Dinan / BMW ), sells and warranties their R8 Superchargers.

There's a reason McKenna BMW chose to support VF Engineering products. Although their supercharger systems were not released first, we've seen first hand the quality of performance and engineering you receive.
