Lux H8 - 2010 E92 M3?
After reading through the numerous threads here about angels eyes, I decided that the LUX H8 kit would work best for me. Then I saw a few posts saying that the LUX lights are not working properly in 2010 models - warning lights, dimming, etc.
Does anyone know if there will be another version coming out that solves the 2010 issues? Or any recommendations on a different solution that's just as good or better in the same price range and easy install? LED only. OSS looks amazing, but much more than I want to spend. |

I am still trying to figure out why the 2010 M3 is different from every other model out there at the moment.

my theory is that BMW got wise to our lightning mods and they dont want use tampering with OEM parts. I heard that they put seals over the headlight covers so that if u open it they w ill know and can void your lighting warranty.

most everyone that i have heard about have been getting error messages. If you have not opened them i would recomend not installing them and calling up NAM to get a refund.

Did you try installing them yet? I have a 2010 as well and looking for some more info on the problems before I order a set? I guess I shouldn't even do so at this point?

I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting until there is a solution.

Nope I ordered them right before I went on vacation thinking I'll have something to do when I get back but I guess I'll wait now to see if there is an easy fix for the problems 2010's are having.

It seems my post has been deleted. Ordered mine in Feb, was pm'd and told via phone that there were no known issues with '10's. Installed them, and no issues so far with my e92 m3 and my buddies 335. If something does come up, what happens with my Lux's? return/exchange?

Dammit. Now I'm all confused. So tempted to order the LUX kit and take my chances after hearing that some members are doing fine with their 2010s. But the fact that the reseller and manufacturer are stating incompatibility is not a good thing.
I think I'll ultimately have to pull the trigger on an alternative in the next few days. I've narrowed it down to Angelibright or Weisslicht. Both seem to have the look and PnP that I want. Just can't decide which of these will be best. |

I ordered them taking the risk that they won't work. If they don't, I'll sell them on the boards with free shipping to a member driving an <'10 model.

I don't want to take the chance either way. So I ended up ordering AIBs. But still want to hear how the LUX kit works out for you. GL.

I'll definitely post pics and supply results.
I've heard these "work" but just throw a code. Definitely don't want that happening. We'll see in a couple weeks.

UGH, so everyone has heard by now that these are being recalled.
I decided to send these back due to the recall + uncertainty of 100% PNP for '10+ models. Sorry guys.
