Your parts will be in on Wednesday

If you don't have combox now but want to get it, we can always retrofit this in the future.

Not sure if you have a 6MT or DCT, but if 6MT you might also want the 6MT launch control feature: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=746163

Other tuning features you might want are the cold start rev limit reduction, and maybe the cold start cam phasing shut off.

BMW Live is available only if you have the Combox.

Safe travels and we'll take good care of your baby when it comes in.
Launch control sounds like a great idea, I'm in for sure!

I like the cold start noise my car makes, I own my home and neighbors can't really hear it+ in LA it is always warm so it only runs in cold start mode for about 20 seconds.

I enjoyed the sound as well when I had it. When you blip the throttle a bit when it's cold it would give a really menacing growl.

My scenario is a bit more like Mike's. I live in a townhouse with a communal garage and an uphill exit. I just got tired of hearing the car slipping the clutch each time I pulled out.

Losing the sound was a big factor in the decision. But in my situation, I chose driveability over sound.

I park in a garage in NYC and absolutely love the cold start sound. I know I am not going to wake anyone up. When pulling out through the exit gate I blip the throttle little bits to get the reverberation next to the wall and think it sounds amazing. My 5 year old keeps asking me why I do that but she will learn...

In unrelated news, my 2 year old girl can pick out all of the BMW's (and Jeeps for some reason) while walking through the garage and amazed her day care teachers one day when they asked what kind of car they were walking by and rather than answer a generic blue car or something like that she said "a BMW". They thought she was guessing and tested her only to discover that she really did know.

Wow, what a list! can you really get all of that done? I doubt you'll get the efficient dynamics display, you need the new colour screen instrument cluster that I think you can only get on 2013 m5s, 7, 5 series right? IDK, that one seems impossible.

Those windows, wipers and unlock ones seem reaaaal nice, those bug me too! I don't think ESS lets you get this custom, maybe I really should go with Mike for my tune!

Also, what's the commbox? Why is it awesome? I think I should just have it with my 2010...

This is one of the pieces to the puzzle to complete the OP's M-Drive retrofit and servotronic selectable steering.

All of it will be done Not the first car I have done everything too!

Efficient dynamics works fantastic, even on my 2008 M3 - you don't need a new cluster or anything. Here is a (not so great) video showing it working on my car until the iphone flew over to the back seat:

Check out some other videos on the youtube channel if they interest you. I need to get some higher quality videography!
