E90 M3
Track/course: Buttonwillow 13 CW
Best Lap Time: 1:57.57 (transponder)
Brakes: AP Racing - Cobalt Friction XR2 front/XR3 rear
Tires: Hankook TD - 295/30/18 square on Apex Arc-8 10.5" (tires on 3rd day)
Suspension: JRZ RS Pro
Other mods: VF620, Akrapovic X-Pipe with stock exhaust, (no aero parts, full interior)

I ended up with three laps in 1:57----1:57.57, 1:57.67, 1:57.79.

I didn't have the camera running for 1:57.57. But I did have it running for 1:57.67. Here's that video.

Great video! Seems you had a really wide line exiting Riverside... can't believe you even made the turn. haa! Although guess it could just be the camera angle making it seem like that

hehe good catch! For some reason, on that lap, the car started tending wide. It wasn't "drifting".....it was just not holding like it usually does. Not sure why.

It was fine the rest of the day, but I remember that moment pretty clearly. I was like, uh, hey car, where ya going? Perhaps there was something on track that reduced grip. That's what it felt like.

The camera is under the driver side headlight. That probably exaggerates it too.

This is a very nice time for street tires!! 6MT or DCT?

Would be curious to see what that driver can do without the $6k suspension and without aero so I could compare to myself lol.

ahah I think it was a 2:01.9 but either way yes the car was mostly stock. It was not a speed district event so had to deal with traffic too

My lap times 11/1-2/2013

So I have to post this. Very excited to have had two really fast days last weekend.
1:54.8 @ buttonwillow 13cw
1:21.8 @ streets of willow cw
2013 e92 m3 dct-
285/30/18 TDs, kw clubsport 3ways, brembo gt 380mm, porterfield r4 pads, apr gtc 250 wing, gintani full exhaust, ess-600 kit, recaro pole position seats.

I just put the blower on. I feel once I get used to the power and have front aero on the car with the spherical bearings and bushings I ordered, I'll see my car in the low low 1:50s at buttonwillow. Too bad my competitor at Super lap battle did 1:48. Ill need the car to lose about 500 pounds in addition to the mods I have listed installed by Thursday to win that battle.

That is really fast in an E9x M3. Please list your mods, including driver mods so we can all see what we are up against!

Damn that's flying! Not sure anyone with an E90 will catch Platte Forme E46 anytime soon. Sounds like they might run mid 1:4x's. Their car is straight dialed!

Any word on the Z06?

The z06 should be done for the next speed district event. I'm really excited to see how it drives. I'll be upset if the e92 feels more grippy with everything I'm putting into the vette.

A track E92 and a track Vette? I'm jelly. Post up your video in the M3 (either from yesterday or a previous track event) so I can see your lines. I ran a 2:01.7 both today and yesterday. The nannies were starting to not allow me to go much faster but if I ran a good clean lap I can do a 2 minute flat lap with the nannies on.

What have you done to yours? I will try to post it tonight. The video I got from last time I think is a 155. My line is the same though. Just couldn't go passed 7000 rpms because of the heat. My car is pretty much useless in the afternoon with the sc now. Makes me wanna remove me headlights and relocate my coolers....I think two full blown race cars might be a little too much for me right now lol.

I have a fabspeed post-cat exhaust (dropped the 50lbs center and side mufflers), numeric short shifter w/cup car cables, 60/40 Guard LSD upgrade, 5-lug conversion, RSS monoball suspension components, and NT01s. Still running with OEM GT3 adaptive sport seats and seat belt.

Full build. Katech motor, quaife trans and dif, custom coolers, some insane dry sump, Penske 3-ways, spherical bearings, full custom aero, world challenge hood. Should be done soon. I'll post pics.
