Ess E92 or C63 AMG, Opinions?
If you had a choice would you rather add an ESS supercharger to your current dct E92, or buy a new 2013 C63 AMG with the development package?
Opinions?

This is not an M3 vs C63 Amg flame thread. Both great cars. This is a thread to get some insight into an actual decision that I am going to make. Thought I'd get some input from people who are car enthusiasts and might have driven / owned both cars.

A more fair comparison would be
Weistec C63 vs ESS M3.. come on And in that case, I'd probably bite my fingernails completely off trying to figure out which to choose. |

The advantage of a S/Ced M3 is that you
1) now exceed the horsepower ( significantly) of the C63 2) you still weight 350 lb less 3) and you still have the handling advantage. And you can pick Monte Carlo Blue as a color choice

2014-2015 should see the completely redone c63 amg with the 5.5L twin turbo v8. I'd keep the m3, then consider a change when both the m4 and the new amg come out. But you'd be enjoying an ess m3 so that shouldn't make waiting that hard

The reason I'm not throwing in the Weistec into the mix is the expense. I can either add the Ess to the M3 that I already own, or get the C63 Amg. I could add the Weistec on down the road a bit, but for now it's the origional options posted above.

Very good point. Only issue is I'm not sure I'd like the m4 as much without the V8. No piped in exhaust noise through the stero for me, ala the M5. So You are even more on point. Keeping the M3 and adding an Ess, keeps me in a V8 as a DD, and let's me wait for C63 AMG with 5.5 V8 biturbo (if Amg doesn't detune it to much).
