switched out my m3 steering trim for 335 steering trim

so i got a hold of a 335 steering wheel trim and custom painted the side pieces to match my body color. what do you guys think? yay or nay? i still have my original M3 trim so i could still go back.

should i try painting some other trim pieces in red as well? hmm..

I give you props for being different, and I don't think it looks bad at all, but I'd definitely prefer the OEM wheel with the M-colored stitching.

not sure chris, it seems a bit out of place to me. I think the car is red enough already :-)

The red stitching was enough for me. The red trim was just overboard.

I think it would/will look fine if the silver trim was different. Just toned down, carbon trim?

Yep. One more who thinks that. And those Porsches with body-color interior pieces look like crap IMO.

If you want something different, get that piece in Alcantara, as previously mentioned by somebody else. BMW sells it, by the way; ask Tischer. You need to learn to rest when you're done man .

It would look nice if a matching aluminum trim replaces the red on the new steering wheel.
