how much do the oem 18" wheels cost new?

because...

some motherf#$%ers took them right in front of my roommate's window last night!#$@

i think i'll just take the money from the insurance company and go with lighter wheels if the price difference isn't that big

any suggestions on the choice of wheels?

Ouch....

Probably the cost from the dealer would be quite high, relative to aftermarket ones that you can get.

SSR's? BBS CH-R's??

why not get a set of used ones in good condition from the for sale forum?
some people sell the 18 and even 19" as soon as they get the car
18"s are around 1500
and 19"s are closer to 2000
and keep the difference from the insurance company to get some mods

and please buy these

Hope they supported your car properly and did not damage anything under the car...

What part of Boston did this happen?

Depends on the alarm, but I think there are system that would have detected the vibrations.

My car's pretty safe. I don't even feel the need to remove the V1 from the visor. I somehow live in one of the safest urban neighborhoods. I park in a private lot, but it's an open lot behind a residential building. I just learned not to park in Amherst overnight...

What part of bay area do you live in? (I lived there for 11 years). Better check your wheels in certain places.
