Any info about e92 CRT?

I read somewhere on here that BMW is planning to release a e92 crt or csl limited edition similar to the e90 crt before the end of production sometime next year.

Anyone has more info or insight on that? Probably another limited run with no chance of getting it in the US?

Just wondering...

I'm aware of the GTS. I'm talking about a crt version of the e92. Not as extreme as the GTS.

Not sure why BMW is not brining those versions to the states. Audi recently asked on facebook if the should bring over the TTRS. I admit that might have been a marketing gag, but still they brought it over and it's selling. Audi usually chickens out too (no rs6, no rs3 etc...) so kudos to them for bringing the TTRS (a car that sells poorly in the us, 100 a month for the regular TT)!!

What I'm saying is that BMW should have the balls to bring over a CRT or GTS - I'm sure they will find takers.

Is that true? I saw 3 TT's with temp tags on my way home yesterday...that would be 2/state/month.

Anyway, I think part of the challenge with the GTS may be crash standards?

Garage List
The only question that remains: Will the great high revving engine days die with an whimper or a bang?

Now that the 1M is supposedly done, it seems like it's time we get to know what the final gasp of the E92 M3 will be if anything here in the US.

Crash tests are the usual excuses, that's right. My point is that those cars are "halo" cars and should not be seen as profit centers.

Maybe Audi needs that more than BMW in the US, so they are willing to take the risk. Still, i'm sure that if you see M3 GTS's or CRT's on the road in the US that would make a lot of folks curious about M.

I'd buy a e92 CRT just for the CF seats.
