Tire pro's please chime in, recommend me a tire size please.
I have the following wheel sizes, which size tires would you guys recommend for my set-up. I would like to fit the widest tire possible on the rear. Thank you in advance for your help.

Almost a 27" tall tire..
To be fact if you haven't bought the wheels yet, why would you go with just a 8.5" wide front wheel? Dave

I would run 255/30 & 285/30. Many people have done 285/30 on 20's. 285/25 are rubber bands.

285/30/20 is a common application and it is available in PSS. Only problem is the matching size for the front which would be 255/30/20 is not available in PSS. There is a 245/30/20 available if you're comfortable running a tire with a load rating that much lower than OEM. I decided not to go in that direction and instead got PS2s in 255/30/20 and 305/25/20.
FYI, I used to have Vreds in 255/30/20 and 285/30/20 with no fitment issues. I wouldn't run 285/25/20. Load rating is way too low and significantly smaller in diameter than OEM.

I will probably go for the 255/30 and 285/30 set up with another tire brand, I would love the PSS but not possible with the 255. |

305 probably would be too wide for a 10" wheel. The 255/285 combo is probably your best bet. When I searched, I found the Vreds, Advan Sports, and Hankook V12s. After that, maybe Nitto Invos but I don't really care for those.
