Got some "good" weather this way, so pics are up!

Areas of note: I included pics of wear on driver/passenger bolster as well as a scrape on the rear bumper/quarter panel area.

Also, FYI - the tire pressure sensor light stays on because the TPMS in my winter wheels are from the 2008 e90 M3 I had prior to this one. Summer wheels/tires are the correct TPMS.

Hmm, concerned about the durability of the palladium leather after seeing those pics. Do you know what caused the wear??

Anyway, the mileage is a little high for me, but I will keep the car in mind. Thanks for the extra pics.

My hunch is that the 1st owner either didn't keep it clean/conditioned, or that they never paid attention to the way they got in and out of the car.Both bolsters were worn like that when I picked it up a year and 15k miles ago. The first thing I did was give it a Leatherique Rejuvinator Oil and Prestine Clean treatment and I haven't seen any additional signs of wear since.

As for a fix, Swissvax makes a Leather Healer product that looks promising. One of the detailers on here has had success with it. I sent him an email to get the exact color, etc.. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=573923

Updates:

• Full inspection and service was just done at Classic BMW on February 13, including oil change and filter, fluids checked and topped off, tires rotated, brakes inspected, tires inspected, HVAC operation and cooling system checked, battery tested, belts inspected, hoses inspected, exhaust inspected, steering and suspension inspected, antifreeze tested.

• Everything looked good. Spark Plugs, Diff Fluid, & Coolant flush are due to be serviced, so I've scheduled them all to be completed this weekend.

• Alignment was just done and Tires were all balanced on February 12th
